This contribution synthesizes the results of Kutaisi Archaeological Landscape Project (KALP), focusing on analysis development settlement patterns in Colchis lowlands during 2nd and 1st millennia b.c. The targeted excavations carried out within urban center provide new information regarding earthen architectural practices, raw material procurement, defensive structures that characterized area Late Bronze Early Iron Ages. three sites identified area, Gabashvili, Dateshidze, Bagrati, are analyzed detail to fresh insights structure typology. They also present distinctive vernacular traditions make role region essential understanding Bronze/Early Age building their continuity over time, environmental sustainability.
